Florence releases provisional public housing rankings

The City of Florence has released the provisional rankings for its public residential housing (ERP) application process. Out of 3,790 total applications submitted, 2,758 have been provisionally admitted, while 1,032 have been provisionally excluded.

Starting September 24, applicants have a 30-day window until October 26 to submit necessary document integrations. Once the investigative phase is complete, a definitive ranking will be published. The administration also plans to open a new application window in the future to allow more citizens to apply.

To address the shortage of available units, the city is investing 20 million euros over three years to renovate vacant ERP housing, with 7 million euros allocated for 2026. Housing Councilor Nicola Paulesu stated that these efforts aim to provide concrete responses to families in need and manage emergency housing lists effectively.
