Florencia Peña reveals past blackmail incident involving son Juan Otero

Argentine actress Florencia Peña has revealed details regarding a past extortion and blackmail incident involving her son, Juan Otero. The event, which occurred several years ago in Pilar, involved a neighbor and her daughter who were acquaintances of the family.

Peña explained that the situation began with suspicious activity on her credit cards, which eventually escalated into direct threats and blackmail against her son. The perpetrators, who were described as friends of the family, stole personal belongings and a credit card.

The legal matter was handled by lawyers Martín Leguizamón and Fernando Burlando. Leguizamón successfully secured convictions, primarily due to the severity of the threats made against a minor. Peña noted that the family had previously chosen to keep the matter private to protect the young people involved and allow them to learn from their mistakes.
