Florentino Pérez increases ACS stake to record 15.015%
Florentino Pérez, president of the construction company ACS, has increased his stake in the firm to a historic high of 15.015%. Through his company Rosán Inversiones, Pérez raised his holding from a previous 14.896%, now controlling 41.61 million shares.
At a market price of 109.1 euros per share, his stake is valued at approximately 4,539.4 million euros. This move solidifies his position as the primary shareholder, ahead of Criteria Caixa (10.648%) and BlackRock (5.057%). This marks the third time Pérez has increased his participation in ACS during 2026.
The share purchases coincide with strong financial performance for ACS. In the first half of 2026, the company reported an attributable net profit of 510 million euros, a 13.3% increase compared to the same period the previous year. Growth has been driven largely by the engineering and construction divisions and the US-based subsidiary, Turner. ACS shares have seen a 28.7% increase in 2026 and a 74.9% rise over the last twelve months.
