Florian Lipowitz eyes future goals after Montreal World Championships

German professional cyclist Florian Lipowitz finished 47th at the World Championships in Montreal, describing the event as one of the hardest races of his career. Lipowitz noted that he lacked the necessary explosive power for the race, a struggle he attributed to a collarbone fracture sustained two months prior.

Looking ahead, Lipowitz plans to compete in three Italian one-day races: Giro dell'Emilia, Tre Valli Varesine, and Il Lombardia. He is also eyeing the upcoming World Championships in the French Alps, which is expected to be the most difficult course in 47 years due to 5,700 meters of elevation gain, potentially offering him a significant medal opportunity.
