Florian Silbereisen addresses technical error during Schlagerboom performance

Moderator Florian Silbereisen has addressed a technical error that occurred during the Schlagerboom anniversary show. During a performance by the Cologne-based carnival band Druckluft, viewers noticed Silbereisen appearing on screen with a serious and seemingly uninterested expression.

Silbereisen clarified via a video message that the footage was not a live broadcast of his reaction. He explained that during rehearsals, recordings are made which can be used as backup in case of technical issues during live transmissions. In this instance, a mistake in the broadcast truck resulted in a still image from a rehearsal being displayed instead of the live feed.

Separately, the Schlagerprofis podcast discussed the ongoing success of the Schlagerboom brand, noting high demand for the 2027 event at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, which is already largely sold out. The podcast also touched upon other artists including Helene Fischer, DJ Ötzi, and Maite Kelly.
