Florian Silbereisen and Esther Sedlaczek to Host Goldene Henne 2026

The 32nd Goldene Henne audience award ceremony will take place on 4 September 2026 at 20:15, broadcast live on Das Erste and the ARD Mediathek. TV presenter Esther Sedlaczek and entertainer Florian Silbereisen will co‑host the gala; Silbereisen, who has led the show four times before, will host for the fifth time. Sedlaczek said, “Bei der Goldenen Henne werden einzigartige Persönlichkeiten für das gewürdigt, was sie mit Talent, Leidenschaft und Engagement erreicht haben.” Silbereisen added that it is “ganz besondere Ehre” to return.

Musical performances are planned from Peter Maffay and Johannes Oerding (in a new duet), Kerstin Ott, Michael Schulte, Unheilig, Till Brönner and Take That. Viewers will vote for winners in categories such as Entertainment, Film & Television, Music and Sport. The event is organized by MDR and SuperIllu in cooperation with NDR, BR and rbb.
