Florian Silbereisen marks 45th birthday, revisits early‑career image

German schlager star Florian Silbereisen turned 45 on 4 August 2026. The entertainer, known for his long blond hair, a gold earring and a red underwear tradition, celebrated the milestone while reflecting on his early‑career look.

Silbereisen began performing at age three with an accordion, released his first single at ten and appeared on "Musikantenstadl" at twelve. He set a world record in 2011 with 117 kisses in one minute and has hosted the Saturday‑night "Feste" shows since 2004, reaching his 100th episode in 2022. He also appears as the captain of the TV series "Traumschiff".

In recent years he has abandoned the shoulder‑length hair and earring, opting for jeans, sneakers and slimmer suits. He will headline the upcoming "Schlagerboom" show in October, continuing his long‑standing presence in German popular music.
