Florianópolis historical building to be integrated into new residential complex
The Armazém Vieira, a historical building in the Saco dos Limões neighborhood of Florianópolis, will be integrated into a new real estate development called Armazém Vieira Residence. Built in 1840, the structure originally served as a strategic maritime outpost connecting the island to vessels and was declared a historical asset in 1984.
Developed by Pimentel Incorporadora, the project involves constructing a 12-story residential tower adjacent to the nearly 200-year-old building. The complex will offer studios and apartments with various configurations, alongside amenities such as a pool, spa, gym, gourmet areas, a pet place, and a mini-market. The development aims to combine historical preservation with modern residential living. Completion is expected by June 2029.
