Florianópolis hosts 3rd Auê to celebrate 35 years of GCAB Capoeira

The 3rd Auê Florianópolis will take place on October 10 and 11 in Canasvieiras, Florianópolis, celebrating the 35th anniversary of GCAB Capoeira. Organized by Mestrando China and Professor Ligeiro, under the supervision of Mestre Corruíra, the event brings together masters, teachers, and practitioners from various Brazilian states, including São Paulo, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul.

Activities will be held at two locations: the main headquarters of the Canasvieiras Residents' Association (AMOCAN) on Saturday, and the Santa Catarina Civil Police Academy (ACADEPOL) gymnasium on Sunday. The event highlights capoeira as a fundamental element of Afro-Brazilian culture, integrating movement, music, rhythm, and community coexistence.
