Florida authorities investigate domestic stabbing and targeted shooting

Two separate violent incidents were reported in Florida on August 10, 2026. In Seminole, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic-related incident near 86th Avenue North and 95th Street. Deputies encountered a bleeding man with a knife on a sidewalk and subsequently discovered a second person critically injured inside a condominium in the Timberwoods complex. One individual was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the other received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.

In Manatee County, the Sheriff's Office reported a targeted shooting near Palmetto. Deputies responded to a residence in the Memphis area late Sunday night, where they found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to a hospital and are expected to recover. Investigators believe the victims were targeted, though no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
