Florida college football teams achieve rare clean sweep
In a rare occurrence for college football, all seven FBS-level teams in Florida achieved victories on the same Saturday. This marks only the third time in history that the state's programs—Miami, Florida, Florida State, UCF, South Florida, Florida International, and Florida Atlantic—have all won on the same day.
Key performances included No. 6 Miami defeating Central Michigan 52-3 and No. 21 Florida securing a 52-28 win over No. 4 Ole Miss. Other winning programs included UCF, which topped TCU 21-13, South Florida, Florida State, Florida International, and Florida Atlantic.
