Florida Department advances relocation project for Chacras 1 families

The Florida Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning, is advancing a project to relocate 15 families from the Chacras 1 settlement. The initiative, which has been in progress since February 2025, has recently received the necessary technical approvals and visas from the Ministry.

The Department's Architecture Directorate has confirmed the planned site layout for the new homes, allowing the construction company to begin site implementation and work on the 15 housing units. Alongside the physical construction, technical teams are conducting workshops with the identified beneficiary families to provide information, address concerns, and support their integration into the new environment.
