Florida Gators defeat Florida Atlantic Owls in four-set volleyball match

The No. 10-ranked Florida Gators defeated the Florida Atlantic Owls 3-1 in a volleyball match held at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Florida improved to a 6-1 season record, while Florida Atlantic fell to 3-3.

Florida's offense was led by Kamryn Chaney, who recorded 20 kills and 22 points. Other notable performances for the Gators included Logan King with 12 kills and Lily Hayes, who recorded her 500th career dig. The team hit .341 as a unit.

Florida Atlantic took the opening set 25-23 after a late run. However, the Gators responded by winning the subsequent three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-18. The Owls' effort was highlighted by Sequoia Layne, who contributed nine kills, and Maya Van Heyst, who provided 32 assists and 12 digs.
