Florida Gators land four-star offensive lineman Samuel Bailey
The Florida Gators have secured a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Samuel Bailey for the 2028 recruiting class. Bailey, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound prospect from Huntsville, Alabama, chose Florida over programs including Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, and Ole Miss.
Bailey is ranked as the No. 23 overall recruit and the No. 4 offensive tackle in the 2028 cycle. He cited his connection with the coaching staff and the program's direction as primary factors in his decision. This marks the first offensive line commitment for Florida in the 2028 class.
Head coach Jon Sumrall emphasized the importance of roster depth and recruiting in rebuilding the program following a recent 52-28 victory over Ole Miss. Bailey joins other 2028 commits Armani Strong and Cyion Smith.
