Florida health organizations announce new board appointments

The Alzheimer’s Association has appointed five residents of Southeast Florida to its Board of Directors. The new members include Chelsey Matheson, Ren Mullinix, Sam Muminov, Elena Newman, and Dr. Naushira Pandya. The appointees aim to support the organization’s mission of advancing research and enhancing care for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Separately, the American Heart Association has named four new members to its 2026-27 Broward County Board of Directors. The appointees—Angela R. Fulton, Bob Buehler, Daren Koenig Cronin, and Dana P.
