Florida law enforcement conducts separate narcotics raids

Law enforcement agencies in Florida conducted separate narcotics raids resulting in significant drug seizures and arrests.

In Escambia County, 22-year-old Antonio Krishawn Thompson faces felony charges including trafficking and gun offenses following a search warrant execution at his Cantonment residence. During the raid, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit seized approximately 150.5 grams of fentanyl, 123.5 grams of methamphetamine, and various firearms, including a .357 revolver and two rifles. Tania Cassandra Eddins, 54, was also arrested during the operation.

In Hernando, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence where they arrested 59-year-old Paul Michael Sawka. Authorities seized over a pound of illegal substances, including 434.5 grams of methamphetamine, 24 grams of fentanyl, and 19.5 grams of cocaine. Sawka faces multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as possession with intent to sell controlled substances.
