Florida local governments schedule October public meetings

Various local government bodies in Florida have scheduled public meetings and workshops for mid-October 2026.

In Levy County, the Board of County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting on October 20 in Bronson. This is followed by a Special Magistrate Code Enforcement meeting on October 21 and a Planning Commission meeting on October 26.

Other regional activities include a Clearwater City Council workshop regarding a proposed multi-use sports complex at the Landings Golf Course, and a Plant City City Commission meeting to review the McIntosh Preserve agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In Pinellas County, the Board of County Commissioners will review the termination of an agreement with the Suncoast Center, Inc. for the Sexual Assault Victim Examination (SAVE) program, with plans to redirect services to local hospitals. Additionally, Hernando County will acknowledge federal housing grants, and Citrus County will consider developments for the Crystal River Airport.
