Florida man arrested after dispute over dog feces turns violent

A 35-year-old Florida man, Trey Decloedt, was arrested in Leesburg following a physical confrontation with his neighbors over a dispute regarding dog feces. According to an arrest affidavit, the conflict escalated when Decloedt allegedly entered a neighbor's home without permission and threw dog waste at the homeowner.

The situation reportedly turned violent when the homeowner pushed Decloedt outside, leading to a fight in which Decloedt allegedly punched the man in the face. Deputies also noted that Decloedt allegedly threatened the neighbor by holding a child’s metal scooter in a “menacing posture” over his head.

Responding Lake County sheriff’s deputies observed a red mark on the neighbor’s forehead and animal feces outside the residence. Decloedt was taken into custody on August 8 and was released on a $16,000 bond on August 9.
