Florida mother and son arrested for incest following domestic dispute

A domestic violence investigation in Lakeland, Florida, has led to incest charges against 46-year-old Christina Clemens and her 22-year-old son, Shane Clemens. The incident began when Christina called authorities to report that Shane had physically assaulted her during a dispute.

Following his arrest for domestic battery, Shane allegedly disclosed to deputies that he and his mother had been in a sexual relationship since he turned 18. When investigators confronted Christina, she reportedly admitted to the relationship, stating they had engaged in sexual intercourse ‘only about 100 times.’

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd confirmed that the investigation also involved Christina’s husband, who lives in the same residence. The husband stated he was unaware of the relationship, though he noted it was suspicious when the two would frequently lock themselves in the master bedroom.

Christina Clemens faces charges of incest, domestic battery, and living in open adultery; she was released on bond. Shane Clemens faces charges of incest and domestic violence battery and remains held without bond.
