Florida mother charged with neglect after leaving four children alone for cruise

Nathalie Belizaire, 29, faces four counts of child neglect after allegedly leaving her four children unsupervised in a North Miami Beach home while she traveled on a four-day cruise to the Bahamas.

The children, aged two months, two years, four, and nine, were discovered by authorities after a parent noticed social media posts regarding the cruise. Police and firefighters forced entry into the residence and found the minors gathered and hiding in a bathroom.

While Belizaire reportedly told the children's father that they would be staying with a great-grandmother, the children were found alone. Belizaire’s attorney has denied the allegations.
