Florida pastors involved in separate legal cases

Two separate legal cases involving Florida pastors have emerged. In Orlando, Timothy Chaneyfield was arrested following an Instagram tip regarding inappropriate activity with a 14-year-old boy. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has charged Chaneyfield with sexual battery and failing to disclose his HIV status to victims.

In a separate matter, Angelo Musicaro of Worship-Life Church in New Port Richey has returned to his pulpit after felony child sex abuse charges were dropped. Musicaro, a former Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputy and inmate chaplain, was arrested in April following allegations of molestation involving children under 12. State Attorney Bruce Bartlett stated that investigations concluded the facts did not warrant prosecution at this time. Musicaro has maintained his innocence, describing the allegations as false.
