Joe's Stone Crab in Miami Beach began in 1913 as a modest lunch counter operated by Joe and Jennie Weiss. While the restaurant originally served simple meals like fish sandwiches, the menu was transformed in 1921 when stone crabs were introduced to the establishment. Now a fourth-generation family business located on Washington Avenue, it remains a significant local landmark.

In St Pete Beach, Hurricane Seafood Restaurant has served patrons since the 1990s. Located in a Victorian-style building at Pass-a-Grille, the restaurant is noted for its fresh grouper sandwiches and a rooftop offering views of the Gulf. The establishment has grown from a single-story building into a multi-level waterfront fixture frequented by local families.
