Florida shootings leave one dead and others wounded in two separate incidents

Two separate shooting incidents in Florida have resulted in fatalities.

In Escambia County, officials reported that one person is dead and another is wounded following an apparent drive-by shooting.

In Lauderdale Lakes, the Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that one person died and another was hospitalized following a shooting in the 3200 block of Northwest 37th Street on Sunday morning. One individual has been detained in connection with the Lauderdale Lakes incident, which is currently under investigation by homicide and crime scene units.
