Florida State football begins critical ACC road stretch

Florida State enters a critical two-game road stretch in the Atlantic Coast Conference, beginning with a matchup against Louisville. The Seminoles (3-2, 1-1 ACC) are looking to build momentum following a dominant 38-7 victory over Virginia, highlighted by quarterback Ashton Daniels' performance where he recorded five rushing touchdowns.

Louisville (2-3, 1-2 ACC) seeks to avoid a third conference loss. While the Cardinals possess a strong offense led by quarterback Lincoln Kienholz, their defense has struggled, ranking 125th nationally in total defense. Louisville coach Jeff Brohm has emphasized the need to simplify communication and improve efficiency to remain competitive.

Following the Louisville game, Florida State will travel to face the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes on October 17. The primetime matchup at Hard Rock Stadium is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN. While Miami holds a slight edge in the all-time series, Florida State has historically performed well on the road against the Hurricanes.
