Florida State football faces injuries and recruiting losses

Florida State University is navigating significant challenges following the firing of head coach Mike Norvell. On the recruiting front, the program has seen three prospects decommit since the announcement. Among them is three-star 2028 defensive end Meshi Dobson, who cited uncertainty regarding the coaching staff and future leadership as reasons for reopening his recruitment.

On the field, the Seminoles face a depleted roster ahead of their upcoming game against Boston College. The availability report indicates that defensive linemen Kevin Wynn and Deante McCray are out. The running back position is also heavily impacted: Sam Singleton Jr. and Ousmane Kromah are out for the season, while starter Tre Wisner is listed as questionable.
