Florida State University to host 2026 Family Weekend

Florida State University will host its 2026 Family Weekend from September 25-27, coinciding with the institution's 175th anniversary. The three-day event is expected to draw more than 700 families to campus for a variety of activities, including tailgating, a football game, and campus traditions.

Key highlights of the weekend include the return of the FSU Flying High Circus, which will hold two performances. In honor of the university's anniversary, the event will also feature an inaugural student banner competition involving more than 20 registered student organizations.

While the weekend offers numerous scheduled events for families to participate in together, organizers and commentators note that the schedule provides flexibility for students to balance family time with their existing social commitments and campus life.
