Florida State women's soccer defeats Florida Atlantic 3-0

No. 3 Florida State women's soccer secured a 3-0 victory over Florida Atlantic at the Seminole Soccer Complex, marking the team's third consecutive shutout to start the season.

Tanner Strickland opened the scoring for the Seminoles in the 11th minute. Freshman Ryder Ajeto doubled the lead in the 64th minute, and a final goal was recorded via an FAU own goal in the 83rd minute. Florida State dominated the match with an 18-2 advantage in shots and a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal.

With this win, Florida State extends its unbeaten streak in regular-season non-conference games to 36, a run dating back to 2019. Goalkeeper Kate Ockene continues a four-game shutout streak, tied for ninth in program history. Florida Atlantic, now 0-2-1, was led by goalkeeper Nikki Holland, who recorded five saves in her first career start.
