Florida volleyball sweeps Baylor and North Texas

The No. 17 Florida Gators volleyball team secured consecutive victories, including a three-set sweep against No. 20 Baylor. Florida won the match 25-13, 25-23, and 25-19, ending Baylor’s undefeated start to the season.

During the match against Baylor, Florida maintained a .281 hitting percentage compared to Baylor’s .046. Baylor struggled with 20 errors and service issues, which head coach Ryan McGuyre noted as a significant hindrance to the team's performance.

Prior to the Baylor match, Florida defeated North Texas in a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 28-26, 25-16) in front of a record crowd of 2,377. Florida’s defense was a focal point of that victory, holding North Texas to a .038 hitting percentage and recording 47 total digs.
