Florida woman arrested for throwing feces at neighbor

Yirsi Machado Rivera, 50, was arrested in Miami, Florida, following an incident at the Royal Country Mobile Homes Park where she allegedly threw a bucket of human feces at a neighbor. The attack occurred on September 7, motivated by Rivera’s suspicion that the neighbor was having an extramarital affair with her husband.

According to police reports, Rivera confronted the victim at her door, accused her of infidelity, and forced her way into the residence before dumping the waste on her. Rivera reportedly told witnesses that she had defecated in the bucket specifically to throw it at the victim’s face.

During the investigation, Rivera claimed she was merely attempting to dispose of the waste because her toilet was broken and that the confrontation was actually about the odor. She also alleged that the neighbor had previously struck her with a baseball bat. Rivera has been charged with burglary and battery and was ordered held without bond during her arraignment before Judge Mindy Glazer.
