Floridia: Man arrested for preterintentional homicide of relative

Authorities in Floridia have arrested a 32-year-old man for the preterintentional homicide of a 44-year-old relative. The arrest was ordered by the Court of Syracuse following an investigation by the Carabinieri.

The victim's body was discovered in an abandoned commercial premises. Investigators determined that the victim had been violently assaulted with punches, slaps to the face, and kicks. The severity of the injuries led to the victim's death two days after the attack.

Evidence used to reconstruct the events included witness testimonies from family and friends, autopsy results, surveillance footage from the area, and technical interceptions. The motive is believed to be related to family disputes. The suspect, who has a prior criminal record, has been transferred to the Cavadonna prison in Syracuse.
