Florina Metropolitan commemorates Saint Sophia

Metropolitan Eirineos of Florina, Prespes, and Eordaea presided over a Vespers service at the Orthodox Missionary Brotherhood of Love in Florina to commemorate Saint Sophia and her three daughters, Faith, Hope, and Love.

During the service, the Metropolitan spoke on the martyrdom of Saint Sophia and her daughters in 2nd-century Rome. He emphasized the Christian virtues of faith, hope, and love, presenting Saint Sophia as a model for motherhood and education. He highlighted the family as the primary institution for spiritual cultivation and encouraged parents to pass Christian values to their children.
