The Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Western Macedonia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports and the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML/CELV) of the Council of Europe, will host a training program titled ‘Supporting Multilingual Classrooms’ in Florina.

Scheduled for September 3 and 4, 2026, the initiative will be coordinated by Prof. Terry Lamp of the University of Westminster and Dr. Katja Schnitzer of Pädagogische Hochschule FHNW. The program focuses on managing linguistic diversity and fostering inclusion within modern school environments to ensure equitable participation for all students.

The project is co-financed by the European Union and the ECML, aiming to connect the local educational community in Western Macedonia with contemporary European approaches to language education.
