Florinda Meza mourns the death of her longtime pet

Mexican actress Florinda Meza, widow of the late comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños (known as ‘Chespirito’), has announced the death of her pet dog, Bruno. The 14-year-old Chihuahua passed away on October 12.

Meza shared her grief on social media, noting that Bruno was the last remaining pet from the group of five dogs that lived with her and Gómez Bolaños during their relationship. The actress expressed that the loss felt deeply personal, stating, “Yesterday my Bruno left, but not only Bruno, that last little piece of the Florinda I used to be also disappeared.”

The date of the pet's passing coincided with the anniversary of the start of her relationship with Gómez Bolaños, adding a layer of nostalgia and sadness to the event.
