Flow Engineering raises $50 million for AI hardware platform

Flow Engineering has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to $750 million. The round was co-led by Antonio Gracias of Valor Equity Partners and Gavin Baker of Atreides Management. Other participants included Sequoia Capital, Human Capital, Evantic, SV Angel, Odyssey, and EQT.

The company is developing an agentic AI platform designed to transform hardware development by mimicking the rapid iteration cycles seen in software engineering. While AI has reduced software development timelines from weeks to hours, hardware development remains constrained by the complex need to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software systems.

Flow’s platform utilizes AI agents to track changes, perform impact analysis, and verify results across computer-aided design (CAD), Git, and simulations. The technology aims to reduce hardware iteration and validation cycles from months to days by acting as a digital coworker that can detect requirement failures and flag conflicts in real time.
