Flowdesk secures VARA broker-dealer license in Dubai

Flowdesk Omega FZE, the Dubai-based subsidiary of the French digital asset firm Flowdesk, has been granted a full broker-dealer license by the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). The authorization allows the firm to provide regulated digital asset services to qualified and institutional investors within Dubai.

This regulatory milestone follows Flowdesk Europe securing Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) status under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The expansion is supported by capital from a $102 million financing round raised in early 2025, which included participation from investors such as BlackRock, Cathay Innovation, and Coinbase Ventures.
