Flowra and Honeypot add sanctions screening to Solana validator block building
Flowra, a validator and order‑flow infrastructure platform for the Solana blockchain, has partnered with compliance provider Honeypot to embed sanctions and risk screening directly into the block‑building process. The integration combines Honeypot’s intelligence on wallet addresses, VPNs, proxy services and Tor exit nodes with Flowra’s Programmable Block Policy, allowing each institutional validator to set its own compliance rules before transactions are confirmed on‑chain.
The initial focus is on filtering transactions linked to entities on sanctions lists such as OFAC, as well as detecting network‑level obfuscation methods. This gives banks, asset managers and other regulated participants operating Solana validators greater flexibility to avoid processing prohibited funds and to meet legal obligations. "Public blockchains have become increasingly attractive to institutional participants, but the infrastructure hasn't evolved to give validators the compliance controls many regulated operators expect," said Harry Hwang, CEO of Flowra.
