Floyd Mayweather claims $550 million stolen by former associates
Professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has alleged that he was defrauded of a total of $550 million by individuals he previously trusted. During an appearance on the PBD Podcast, Mayweather claimed that one individual, whom he viewed as a father figure, stole $350 million, while another associate allegedly took an additional $200 million.
Reports indicate that Mayweather has previously targeted Al Haymon and Jona Rechnitz in relation to his finances. A previous lawsuit filed against Rechnitz accused him of a fraud scheme involving the diversion of settlement funds, real estate loan money, and nearly $100 million worth of jewelry. Rechnitz has denied these allegations, asserting that Mayweather was aware of certain financial transactions.
While Mayweather recently withdrew a lawsuit against Rechnitz without prejudice, allowing for a potential refiling, the boxer continues to claim significant financial losses. He has also sought $340 million in a separate legal action against Showtime and former executive Stephen Espinoza, alleging unauthorized transactions regarding his earnings.
