Floyd Mayweather launches legal marketing network

Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather has launched The Money Team Legal Network, a nationwide legal marketing service. The venture uses Mayweather’s ‘50-0’ boxing reputation to attract clients seeking assistance with personal injury claims, such as car accidents. The network markets itself as a platform that connects prospective claimants with independent participating attorneys rather than acting as a law firm itself.

Promotional materials for the service claim the network delivers ‘multi-million dollar settlements’ and offers free consultations, noting that no fees are charged until a client is paid.

The launch coincides with Mayweather facing two unresolved felony charges in Nevada. Prosecutors allege that in December 2024, Mayweather issued a $200,000 check to a luxury resale store, Gold and Beyond, to obtain a watch despite having insufficient funds. The charges include theft involving a value of $100,000 or greater and passing a check without sufficient funds with intent to defraud. Mayweather has not been convicted, and his case is scheduled to return to court in September.
