Flu vaccination rates rise in Valparaíso, Chile and Santa Fe, Argentina

Municipal health teams in Valparaíso, Chile reported that 75.93% of the city's population has been vaccinated against influenza, covering more than 103,000 residents and slightly exceeding the national average of 75.61%. The campaign emphasized continued outreach to seniors, pregnant women and young children.

In Santa Fe Province, Argentina, officials announced that over 50% of the approximately 800,000 people classified as at‑risk have received the flu vaccine. The provincial health director highlighted strong investment and support from provincial and national authorities, and urged completion of vaccination schedules for vulnerable groups, while also promoting related vaccines for respiratory illnesses and COVID‑19 boosters.
