Flughafen Zürich AG to host career orientation week in November 2026

Flughafen Zürich AG will host a career orientation week from November 2 to 8, 2026. The event involves twelve partner companies, including airlines such as Swiss, Edelweiss, and Helvetic Airways, as well as service providers like Skyguide, SR Technics, Swissport, and dnata.

The initiative aims to provide students and professionals seeking career changes with insights into the operational processes and various job profiles at the airport. The program includes behind-the-scenes tours of logistics and maintenance facilities, presentations on training pathways, and a networking event scheduled for November 7, 2026.

In addition to aviation-specific roles, service providers from the retail, gastronomy, and facility management sectors, such as Dufry, Autogrill, and ISS, will also participate. The event addresses the ongoing labor shortage in the aviation industry, specifically targeting the need for permanent staff in shift and infrastructure operations.
