Fluminense players Martinelli and Thiago Silva have reached significant milestones regarding appearances for the club.

Martinelli, a 24-year-old midfielder, has tied Marcão for the fourth-most appearances for Fluminense in the Brasileirão, reaching 187 matches in the competition since 2020. He also holds the club record for most appearances in the Libertadores with 38 matches. As a product of the Xerém academy, Martinelli has played 334 professional matches, the highest among current squad members.

Defender Thiago Silva, currently in his third stint with the club, has reached 221 appearances. He is now tied with Roger Flores for fifth place among players developed at the Xerém academy for the most professional matches played for Fluminense. With a contract running through December 2026, Silva has the opportunity to climb further in the club's historical rankings.
