Remo negotiates Marcelinho renewal as Brazilian clubs heat up transfer market

Remo is in talks to extend the contract of right‑back Marcelinho, whose deal runs until December 2026. The 27‑year‑old has attracted interest from a Turkish side and other foreign clubs, but the club says no formal offer has been received. His release clause is estimated at R$5‑6 million, and because he has already played 14 Série A matches this season he cannot join another top‑flight team until next year.

In the same transfer window, Vitória players with fewer than 12 league appearances remain eligible to move to other Série A clubs, while several others are restricted until the end of the year. Grêmio is monitoring Juventude midfielder Mandaca, whose contract ends in December and could sign a pre‑contract from July. Meanwhile, Flamengo plans to spend up to R$90 million on new signings, balancing the budget against a R$1.1 billion annual outlay.

Fluminense is reported to be interested in midfielder Arthur, currently on loan from Grêmio and Juventus, as a possible replacement for Martinelli. In the state‑level under‑20 competition, Galvez has added nine new players to bolster its squad for the remainder of the Campeonato Acreano Sub‑20.
