Fluminense signs midfielder Stiven Jimenez from FC Cincinnati

Brazilian club Fluminense has announced the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Stiven Jimenez on loan from FC Cincinnati. The Mexican-American player will initially join the club’s U-20 squad to adapt to the local style of play and language under coach Fred.

Jimenez gained international attention for his precocious career in the United States, having become the youngest player to debut professionally for FC Cincinnati at age 15. He has also represented both the United States and Mexico at the youth international levels. The loan agreement is set to run through December, with the club evaluating his progress for a potential move to the first team.
