Fluminense targets River Plate forward Sebastián Driussi

Brazilian club Fluminense is reportedly interested in signing River Plate forward Sebastián Driussi for the 2027 season. The 30-year-old attacker, who recently returned to River Plate from Austin FC, has been regaining prominence after dealing with various injuries that hindered his continuity.

Fluminense is looking to bolster its center-forward position following a season marked by struggles in that area, including a serious knee injury to John Kennedy and inconsistent performances from other signings. While interest from the Rio de Janeiro-based club has been noted, no official offer has been confirmed. Reports suggest a potential valuation of approximately $4.5 million for the player.

At River Plate, Driussi is currently competing for starting positions within the attacking lineup, notably facing competition from Lucas Beltrán.
