Flutter Entertainment appoints Seema Padman to lead Hyderabad IT hub

Flutter Entertainment has appointed Seema Padman as General Manager of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. Padman, who joined the company in April 2024, will oversee the center’s growth strategy and focus on scaling technical capabilities to support the group’s global brands.

The Hyderabad hub, which has grown to over 1,000 employees, serves as a central development point for the company’s global platforms, including software development and infrastructure. Padman will also drive the ‘Flutter Edge’ initiative, which aims to integrate technology, product development, and talent management to enhance the company’s competitive advantage.

This leadership change comes as Flutter Entertainment shifts its strategic focus in India toward scalable IT capabilities following the withdrawal of its Junglee real-money gaming division in 2025 due to regulatory restrictions.
