Flutter Entertainment names Dan Taylor CEO as Peter Jackson steps down
Flutter Entertainment announced that Group Chief Executive Peter Jackson will resign effective 30 September 2026. Dan Taylor, currently President of Flutter and head of its International division, will assume the CEO role on 1 October 2026 and join the board. Jackson will remain an advisor to the company until December 2026.
The company cut its full‑year revenue midpoint guidance by $395 million to $17.91 billion and its EBITDA guidance midpoint by $210 million to $2.655 billion. Shares fell more than 9 percent in New York trading after the leadership announcement.
Flutter also delisted its shares from the London Stock Exchange on 3 August 2026, leaving the New York Stock Exchange as its sole primary listing. The move reflects a strategic focus on the U.S. market, where the firm is increasing investment in its FanDuel sportsbook despite a 6 percent drop in U.S. revenue to $1.68 billion and a 15 percent decline in sportsbook revenue.
