Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola joins Silicon Valley advisory board

Olugbenga “GB” Agboola, the founder and CEO of the Nigerian payments technology company Flutterwave, has been appointed to the Founders Council of the Silicon Valley & The World Advisory Board.

Launched by the global media company Semafor, the initiative aims to connect leaders of transformative technologies with policymakers to discuss the societal and economic impacts of advancements in artificial intelligence, national competitiveness, energy, and security.

Agboola joins a group of over 50 global entrepreneurs and business leaders. The advisory board is co-chaired by prominent figures including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alphabet President Ruth Porat, and AMD CEO Lisa Su. Agboola stated he intends to provide an African perspective to the discussions regarding the next generation of global technology.
