Flutterwave Secures Spot on CNBC / Statista 2025 World’s Top Fintech Companies List

Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments‑technology firm, has been placed on CNBC and Statista’s 2025 World’s Top Fintech Companies ranking. The list spotlights firms that drive innovation, improve customer outcomes and shape the future of financial services. Flutterwave’s inclusion reflects a decade of building infrastructure that links African businesses to global markets.

The company now operates in more than 30 African countries, supports payments in over 50 currencies and has processed more than one billion transactions worth over $50 billion. It was also named to the 2025 TIME100 Most Influential Companies list. Commenting on the recognition, Yewande Akomolafe‑Kalu, Head of Marketing at Flutterwave, said the accolade validates the team’s work in creating technology that solves real problems for merchants and individuals.

As it enters its second decade, Flutterwave is expanding beyond payments, having acquired open‑banking startup Mono, secured a Nigerian micro‑finance banking licence and begun developing stablecoin‑based solutions.
