Flutterwave to host executive forum at UNGA 81 regarding Africa’s economic growth

Flutterwave, an African payments technology company, has announced it will host an executive forum titled ‘Africa Forward: Investing in the Next Decade of Growth’ during the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81).

Scheduled for September 23, 2026, the invitation-only event aims to discuss the financial infrastructure necessary to drive cross-border trade, improve international money movement, and attract institutional capital to the continent. The company intends to present its payment, banking, and stablecoin capabilities as essential tools for Africa’s upcoming economic expansion.

Founder and CEO Olugbenga Agboola will lead the delegation. The forum is expected to convene senior decision-makers from both the public and private sectors, including state governors, ministers, and executives from organizations such as JPMorgan, Citi, Visa, Google, Microsoft, Chevron, and the International Finance Corporation.
