Flávio Bolsonaro accuses President Lula of PCC ties and slams Brazil's Supreme Court

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL‑RJ) criticized recent decisions of Brazil's Supreme Court, arguing they hinder structural reforms such as railway construction and tax changes. He claimed the court's rulings impede legal certainty and demanded a pact between the commercial sector and public authorities to expose companies that launder money for narco‑terror groups.

Bolsonaro also alleged that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and former minister Flávio Dino have connections with organized crime, saying Lula "looks like the chief of the PCC" during an event with entrepreneurs in São Paulo. He praised the United States' recent designation of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and the Comando Vermelho (CV) as terrorist organizations, urging Brazil to follow suit. The president’s office declined to comment on the senator’s statements.

The comments come as part of Bolsonaro’s pre‑presidential campaign, positioning the criminal‑terrorist classification as a central electoral issue.
